Privacy Policy
Data Access
DriveLens accesses your Google user account information (specifically your name and email address) and file metadata from your Google Drive, including file names, sizes, and folder structures.
Data Usage
We use your Google account information to personalize your experience and file metadata to calculate storage usage summaries. All file-level analysis is performed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
Data Sharing & Third Party Services
We do not share your Google user data with any third parties. Your data is used exclusively within DriveLens to provide you with storage insights and is not sold or distributed for any other purpose.
We use Google Identity Services for authentication. Your interaction with Google's login system is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.
Sensitive Data Protection
DriveLens protects all of your sensitive data by encrypting it during transmission and when it is at rest on your device. DriveLens protects against unauthorized access to your sensitive data by requesting private access credentials (available only to you) via Google Identity services. To ensure maximum privacy, we never store file metadata outside of your own device, and never request access to file contents (such as images, videos, documents or emails).
Data Retention & Deletion
File metadata and analysis summaries are not retained. You can revoke application access at any time via your Google Account security settings. Historical data is stored on your device and can be removed by clearing your browser data.
